JAKE + ELLIE
Dark and Moody Elopement in a Vintage Picture House
Abbeydale Picture house is a 1920's vintage cinema and theatre in the city of Sheffield and is the perfect setting for a big wedding full of all your family and friends or a small elopement just the two of you like Jake and Ellie chose to do.
The couples, dark vampy style perfectly complimented the venue. With it’s rich decor and velvets the venue looks amazing even without any decor or styling. If you want a venue a little bit out of the ordinary this definitely should be up near the top of your list!
Ellie wore a floaty just above the ankle length dress that was designed and made by Alexandra Anne Bridal. This was complimented by some epic jewellery from Sam Ryde who designs and makes bespoke pieces!
Jake wore an outfit from Asos! Yes you heard that right! Asos has some awesome non-traditional suits that are a little bit Extra…If you can’t be extra on your wedding day when can you be?!
The styling was rich with an abundance of beautiful florals created by the amazing Emma cox Floristry. The space was styled by Tara Knott used deep oranges and pinks with a pop of mustard and blue. Tara layered fabrics creating beautiful textured depth to the look which complimented the florals perfectly. The colourful candles popped against the deep blue and casted a subtle glow of light on the flowers and decor.
Little Button Bakery created a cake that was super bloody amazing!! The talent this woman has is incredible!!
The stationary was lovingly designed and created by Mama Inc Studio. The colours she chose perfectly complimented the florals and venue and the hand written calligraphy was almost a nod to the age of the venue whilst keeping the rest of the design modern and on trend.
